Bendyworks Event Code of Conduct
Bendyworks events are for people from many different backgrounds. Unless specifically noted otherwise, Bendyworks events are restricted to those aged 21 years or older. We expect employees and attendees to help make this event enjoyable for everyone, regardless of age within restrictions, gender, sexuality, religious or ethnic identity, or ability. You acknowledge that you may be asked to leave at any time by a Bendyworker for any reason or no reason at all, and that you will obey such a request. In such an event, all rights granted to you in this document are revoked.
All Attendees
Show respect for all attendees. In particular:
- Offensive behavior such as verbal abuse, intimidation, or harassment will not be tolerated.
- Remember that all our attendees are here for similar reasons, and do not make assumptions about anyone's interests, skill level, or profession based on their appearance or background.
- Remember that "no means no." If someone asks you to stop speaking about a particular subject, or to leave them alone, please do so.
- If you consume alcohol, drink responsibly.
- Ejecting any items through the windows is strictly prohibited.
- The Bendyworks office and the stairs from the first to second floor are available to you. The rest of the building is off-limits to visitors without permission from the landlord or other tenants, such as Madison's Bar.
- If you see someone behaving badly, let them know that you're not OK with it and contact the Bendyworker listed below.
