BendyConf: Share, Learn, Enjoy
We believe it’s important that companies provide a forum for employees to share their passions, learn about a diverse array of topics, and enjoy the company of their coworkers. For us at Bendyworks, a big way we do that is through our internal conference, BendyConf.
BendyConf allows us to learn from each other while also leveling up our conference speaking skills. First, Bendyworkers propose talks on topics they are passionate about and go through a submission process similar to many conferences in the tech and design industries. We provide support along the way: this year we were lucky enough to hear from both Jason Teteak and Ashe Dryden on how to give great conference talks. We also made time for test runs and feedback during our Tuesday Tech Talk lunches (or T3s, as well call them).
This year for the first time we were joined by a small number of community members, which was exciting and just a little nerve inducing. The talks were typical for BendyConf – a mixture of the technical, the personal, and the Far, Far Future!
We’re delighted to be able to share the videos of our talks with you. You’ll see them posted here over the next month with reactions from other Bendyworkers who saw the talks. In fact, we’ve already posted one to get you started.
We hope you enjoy!
